All of the below subsubthemes could be better placed into a different subtheme. They are noted in the main document.

• Open source allows decentralization of power over AI development. (decentral_power_development, 5)
• This is a little misplaced, and related but orthogonal to ^willingtodonate3. Distributed training has much lower bandwidth than centralized training. (distributed_training_difficulties, 2)
• There is nothing legally wrong with closed AI, but taking so much from the data commons is exploitative. Perhaps this is better placed in Data. (legal_but_exploitative, 1)
• The training cost of models is prohibitively expensive, which is identical to ^llmtooexpensive11. (cost_prohitively_expensive, 1)
